Expert Faucet Repair & Installation

Licensed, insured, 1-year warranty · Same-day & 24/7 service · Serving Canton, Woodstock & North Atlanta

A dripping faucet wastes water and gets worse, not better. A loose or corroded faucet damages the countertop and cabinet underneath. New fixtures change the entire feel of a kitchen or bath. BF Plumbing & Drain repairs, replaces and installs faucets of every type across North Atlanta — kitchen pull-down, bathroom widespread, tub-and-shower valves, frost-free hose bibs, and laundry faucets.

We carry common cartridges, stems, seats and aerators on the truck, and we install your faucet or supply one if you'd rather. Every install includes new supply lines, a leak-tested seal, and the 1-year workmanship warranty.

Faucet problems we handle

Most faucet problems point to a small set of failures:

  • Drip from the spout — worn cartridge, ceramic disc, or rubber seat/seal.
  • Low pressure from one faucet — clogged aerator or supply screen.
  • Leak under the sink — failed supply line, cracked tailpiece, or loose mounting nut.
  • Handle hard to turn or stuck — mineral buildup inside the cartridge.
  • Loose faucet base — mounting hardware backed off or corroded.
  • Outdoor hose bib drips or splits — frost damage from a winter freeze.

Our faucet service process

Faucet work is fast when the right parts are on hand:

  1. 1

    Identify model & failure

Different brands use specific cartridges. We identify the manufacturer and model before swapping parts — the wrong cartridge won't seal.

  2. 2

    Shutoff & access

Angle stops verified working. We check for corroded shutoffs and recommend replacement now if they're not safe to operate later.

  3. 3

    Repair or replace

Cartridge or seat/spring kits for repairable faucets. Full replacement when the faucet is corroded, finish is gone, or the body is cracked.

  4. 4

    Install with new supplies

New flex supply lines on every install — old ones fail at the worst time. New aerator, new mounting hardware as needed.

  5. 5

    Test & cleanup

Run hot and cold separately, full flow, leak-check every connection, cycle the diverter on pull-downs. Cabinet wiped clean.

What faucet service costs in North Atlanta

Flat-rate. What moves the price:

  • Repair (cartridge, seats, aerator) vs. full faucet replacement.
  • Single-hole vs. widespread (3-piece) vs. wall-mount installations.
  • Whether angle stops or supply lines also need to be replaced.
  • Tub/shower valve work — sometimes requires opening the wall.
  • Outdoor hose bib replacement, especially if soldered copper requires sweating.
  • Whether you supply the fixture or we do.

Faucet realities in North Atlanta water

North Atlanta is a patchwork of housing stock and soil conditions, and that drives a lot of plumbing decisions. Subdivisions built in the 1990s and early 2000s across Canton, Woodstock and Holly Springs typically run builder-grade PVC and CPVC that's now reaching end-of-life on fittings and shutoffs. Older homes in Marietta, Roswell and Kennesaw still have cast-iron drains and copper supply that scale up and pinhole. Newer construction in Acworth, Ball Ground and Cumming sits on red clay that shifts seasonally and stresses underground lines.

We work in this market every day, so we know which neighborhoods have shared sewer easements, which water utilities require a permit pull, and which inspectors want to see specific fittings. That local knowledge shortens the job and keeps it code-correct the first time.

Frequently asked questions

Can my faucet be repaired or does it need replacing?

Most name-brand faucets less than 10 years old are repairable with a new cartridge. Cheaper builder-grade faucets and anything 15+ years old usually makes more sense to replace.

Why is my water pressure so low at one faucet?

Almost always a clogged aerator or supply screen. Unscrewing and cleaning the aerator fixes it in under a minute. If it doesn't, the cartridge is partially blocked.

Do you supply the faucet?

We can supply mid- and premium-grade brands, or install one you purchased — your choice. We'll tell you honestly which units have parts available locally for future repair.

Why does my outdoor faucet drip even when off?

Usually a cracked stem from a winter freeze. The faucet needs to be replaced, ideally with a frost-free hose bib if the wall configuration allows.
